My Story
My interest in branding started long before I became a designer. While studying Economics, I built a small merchandise and apparel business, producing custom clothing through Direct-to-Film (DTF), Direct-to-Garment (DTG) printing and Embroidery. I partnered with local artists and created branded merchandise for small businesses, block parties, talent shows, and community events. That experience made me curious. Why did some businesses instantly feel credible while others struggled to be noticed? Why did some brands remain relevant for years while others faded away?
After moving to Canada, I enrolled in a Graphic Design diploma program to develop my creative skills. But the more I learned, the more my curiosity grew beyond design itself. I began exploring branding, positioning, marketing, messaging, and the psychology behind how people perceive businesses. One idea became impossible to ignore. There are good designs. And there are impactful designs. The difference is strategy.Today, I help businesses close the gap between the value they deliver and the way they are perceived.
What I Believe
I believe every business already has a brand.
The question is whether it is communicating intentionally.
I believe strategy gives design direction.
I believe clarity builds trust faster than aesthetics.
I believe businesses should invest in design because it helps people understand, trust, remember, and choose them.
When strategy comes first, design becomes more than something people see.
It becomes something that helps a business grow.
How I Work
Every project begins with questions before visuals.
Before colours.
Before typography.
Before logos.
I want to understand:
- What makes your business different?
- Who are you trying to reach?
- Why should people choose you?
- How do you want to be remembered?
- What business goals should your brand support?
Only after those answers become clear does design begin.
Because great brands are not designed first.
They are understood first.
What this Means for you
Whether your brand is new or established, the same question applies:
Is it communicating what your business has become?
Together, we will uncover the gap between the value you deliver and the way your business is perceived, then build a brand that communicates with clarity, earns trust, and supports long-term growth.
If that is the kind of thinking you want behind your brand, I would love to hear your story.
